{Real Party} - Candyland - the carnival games

For the party activities I set up some carnival games: ring toss, duck pound, apple harvest, go fishing, and many more. I also rented a spin art machine and the kids had a lot of fun making crazy art!

I had a lot of help from some neighbors and I had a girl in each carnival both helping the little ones. I custom made aprons with the candyland characters for my “helpers” to wear.

Where to find:
games & prizes: Oriental Trading and Party City
spin art machine: A Party 4 Less
Suggar Daddy t-shirt: Ebay
Chiclets t-shirt: Junk Food

{Real Party} - Candyland - the candy buffet

How much fun I had planning and shopping for all this candy? Well, I felt like a little girl all over again getting crazy in the candy stores!

The round tables were set up to hold the take-home favors: a Candyland game, and a clear bucket to be filled with all of the candy.

The clear buckets are from Oriental Trading, the decorative stickers on the buckets are from Paper Peddler.

The centerpiece - Lolly - I found on Ebay.

The details:

Come back tomorrow to see the carnival games we had at the party!
Thanks!

{Real Party} - Candyland Party

My youngest daughter is a candy lover… I guess most of the kids are but because my older one doesn’t care much about candy (she is very “healthy conscious”) I always think Gaby is the candy girl.

So when I asked her what she wanted her party to be her answer couldn’t be different: Candyland!

What a fun theme to work with! I went nuts… and of course got a lot of inspiration on Amy Atlas and HWTM!

{Real Party} - Safari Party @ Miami Children's Museum

This was Carina's 5th birthday party. It's always hard to plan her parties because is summer - in Miami - which means - is SUPER hot and it rains every day...

We live in an amazing city. I love Miami but we do NOT have a lot of options when we think KIDS birthday parties. The Miami Children’s Museum is great. WE HAD LOTS OF FUN!
Carina & Gaby wearing custom made tank tops from Bon Bon Bebe.

Once again the cake & cupcakes were from Mishas Cupcakes
