DIY Fabric Covered Cork Board

This is something that I had been wanting to do for a while. Last week I was at Target and spotted the perfect size cork board - perfect! I followed a very easy DIY here - and 30 minutes later I had an amazing board for my new studio!

I also made a sign with my store name - out of tick cardstock - using my Silhouette Cameo - LOVE IT

Can't wait to make two more for my daughters' bedrooms! 

NEW Studio Reveal!

After several months of a complicated renovation I can enjoy my new studio!

We renovated the upstairs of my home (2 bed and 1 bath) and move the girls up! They are very happy with their new space! I am thrilled to enjoy their old space! A big bedroom was transformed in my new studio! Here is the result:

One the first bedroom I kept an old daybed that can be used for guest. My favorite part of the studio is the Martha Stewart craft tables - it is really amazing how much you can store - and how organized you can be!

On the back of the room I had 2 IKEA LACK bookshelves. They also hold a lot of things and are very sturdy. Unfortunately they are no longer available.

In between the bookshelves I used a small KALLAX bookshelf and it is perfect to hold some of my papers.

On the opposite wall I have a desk from Ikea, one ALEX drawer unit, printer, and two cubes from Michael's to store more paper.

I already got a few messages asking to share the "inside" of all cabinets and share some tips on how to organize punches, dies, etc. I will work on that post soon!

Surf's UP Dude! Pool Party

Summer is almost gone... it went by way too fast... and to celebrate the last weeks of summer I did a small get together to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday with her closets friends.

Since we just had come back from Kauai - and she had so much fun surfing - nothing better than a SURF party! Here are the pictures - ENJOY!

{Real Party} - Let's get Tangled!

This is the second time I styled Maia’s party – one of my favorite clients! She told me she was having a Tangled party and her mom asked me to make something simple, modern, but at the same time a “princess” theme.

The dessert table had Maia’s favorites: cupcakes from a local bakery, marshmallows, mini chocolate nuggets, brigadeiros, “beijinho de coco” – Brazilian coconut fudge, decorated sugar cookies, and gumballs.

Everything was personalized with her name and age. The gumball tubes were transformed into a little Tangled princess, with purple dress, tiara, and a long braid! The back drop had one of my favorite’s features: The Snuggly Duckling sign! Hope you enjoy!

HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY!!!

Today is a very special day! Not only because is Valentine's Day ... but it is very special because 11 years ago on Valentine's Day my life changed FOREVER! 11 years ago my sweetheart and the love of my life proposed... I said YES... and we married a few months later!

here is one of my favorite projects! I saw this cute box on Pinterest and made my Valentine's version: mini chocolates, mini markers, paper clips, lip gloss, hand sanitizer, ribbon, mini cupcake liners, and more... hope I made the teachers smile!
